Philosophy

MyPy Coding aims to foster a love of computer science in students. Through a project-based curriculum, students are able to apply the skills they are learning and develop an impressive repository of work.

Courses

Scratch

Young coders will put their imagination to the test through games and interactive projects in this blocked-base programing language, developing games and other projects.

Recommended grades: 2-4

Python

Our foundations of Python course is intended to give students a fundamental understanding of computer science principles used in all aspects of tech.

Recommended grades: 4-8

Web Development

Students are equipped with a comprehensive understanding of front-end web design, by integrating HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create stunning websites.

Tutors You Can Relate To

MyPy Coding tutors are dedicated high school and middle schoolers with extensive Computer Science experience. The relative age similarity between students and tutors makes for engaging and meaningful lessons.

7th-12th grade
Are sessions online?

Yes! All of our sessions are online and conducted utilizing Zoom.
How long are sessions?

Our tutoring sessions are 30 minutes long.
What language(s) do I have to be familiar with to tutor?

You should have experience with at least one of the following: Python Scratch HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Do I have to create my own lessons?

Nope! We provide you with a handbook on how to tutor as well as weekly lessons and exercises for you to do with your student.
Does tutoring count for service hours?
